Primeira Liga (Week 13) : Guimaraes defeats Boavista 2-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: After their 1-1 draw against Chaves on December 4, the Vimaranenses bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Boavista this Saturday.
Teixeira Cesar opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Boavista catch up in the 5th minute thanks to Sampaio Philipe. 1-1 at half time. The Vimaranenses eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Hurtado Paolo in the 68th minute.
Vitoria SC climbed to fourth place with 24 points from 13 games, only one point behind FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
