PORTUGAL, Dec. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 12: Vitoria Guimaraes was held to a 1-1 draw by Chaves on Sunday.
Vitoria Guimaraes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Vitoria Guimaraes forward Fortes Hernani in the 3rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Chaves with a saving goal from Chaves midfielder Patrao Joao in the 83rd minute.
Vitoria SC remains in fifth place with 21 points from 12 games, 2 points behind SG Braga.
