Primeira Liga (Week 21) : Sporting defeats Moreirense 3-2
PORTUGAL, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 21: After losing 2-1 to Porto on February 4, the Sportinguistas bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Moreirense this Sunday.
Moreirense had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Cesar Bruno ('17 own) and Caue Da Silva ('43 on penalty), while Sporting only scored once Ruiz Alan ('40). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Sportinguistas nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Dost '68 and Silva Adrien '73).
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in third place with 41 points from 21 games, 9 points behind FC Porto.
