PORTUGAL, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for Feirense. After their 2-1 win against Rio Ave on February 6, the Fogaceiros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 1-0 victory over Tondela this Saturday.
Tondela made Feirense doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Feirense midfielder Silva Tiago on penalty with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Feirense climbed to 12nd place with 25 points from 21 games, tie on points with Boavista FC, which has a game in hand.
