Primeira Liga (Week 22) : Porto beats Tondela 4-0
PORTUGAL, Feb. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 22: 6 wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Moreirense, Rio Ave, Estoril, Sporting Lisbon and Vitoria Guimaraes, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 4-0 victory over Tondela this Friday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Silva Andre in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Neves Ruben '54, Soares Francisco '63 and Jota '90).
FC Porto climbed to first place with 53 points from 22 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
