PORTUGAL, Feb. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 23: The match between Tondela and Maritimo ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Tondela players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Murillo Jhon in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Maritimo with a saving goal from Brazilian defender Silva Raul in the 61st minute.
CS Maritimo remains in 6th place with 34 points from 23 games, 4 points behind SG Braga, which has a game in hand.
