PORTUGAL, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 23: Four wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Nacional, Arouca and Braga, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-1 victory over Chaves this Friday.
Mitroglou Kostas scored dual goals
Mitroglou Kostas opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Chaves catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Bressan Renan. 1-1 at half time. The Eagles eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Silva Rafa ('50) and Mitroglou Kostas ('89).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 57 points from 23 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
