PORTUGAL, Feb. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for Benfica. After their 3-0 win against Nacional on February 5, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Arouca this Friday.
Mitroglou Kostas scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mitroglou Kostas ('25, '35). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Carrillo Andre in the 49th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 51 points from 21 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
