Primeira Liga (Week 7) : Chaves beats Estoril 2-0
PORTUGAL, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Chaves. After their 3-0 win against Moreirense on September 18, the Flavienses continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Estoril this Saturday.
Chaves dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belarusian midfielder Bressan Renan in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Flavienses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Djavan Ferreira in the 68th minute.
GD Chaves climbed to 8th place with 7 points from 7 games, only one point behind CD Feirense, which has a game in hand.
