Primeira Liga (Week 7) : Braga defeats Tondela 2-1
PORTUGAL, Sep. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Braga. After their 2-1 win against Vitoria Guimaraes on September 17, the Arcebispos continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Tondela this Sunday.
Freitas Murilo opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Braga catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Hassan Ahmed. 1-1 at half time. The Arcebispos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Costa Ricardo into his own net in the 46th minute.
SG Braga climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 7 games, 3 points behind CS Maritimo.
