Segunda division (Week 14) : Las Palmas beats Valladolid 2-1
SPAIN, Nov. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 14: After their 0-0 draw against Mirandés on November 15, Los Amarillos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Valladolid this Sunday.
Valladolid had started off well by taking the lead in the 43rd minute with a goal by Diaz. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Amarillos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Momo '62 on penalty and Gomez '78).
UD Las Palmas remains in first place with 29 points from 14 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
