Segunda division (Week 17) : Zaragoza beats Girona 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 17: The Blanquivermells crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-1 against Zaragoza.
Girona had started off well by taking the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by Mata. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Blanquillos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hadzic '56 and Baston '62 on penalty).
Girona FC remains in third place with 30 points from 17 games, 3 points behind Real Sporting de Gijon.
