Segunda division (Week 17) : Las Palmas defeats Recreativo 4-2
SPAIN, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 17: After their 2-2 draw against Sabadell on December 10, Los Amarillos bounced back with a 4-2 victory over Recreativo this Saturday.
Araujo scored dual goals
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to goals from Aleman ('13), Araujo ('24) and Gomez ('26). Leading 3-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Araujo in the 56th minute.
UD Las Palmas remains in first place with 36 points from 17 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Real Sporting de Gijon.
