Segunda division (Week 18) : Ponferradina defeats Mallorca 3-1
SPAIN, Dec. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 18: After losing 3-1 to Llagostera on December 14, La Ponfe returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Mallorca this Saturday.
Yuri scored dual goals
Ponferradina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Yuri in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Ponfe further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Adan '55 and Yuri '67/penalty).
SD Ponferradina climbed to 6th place with 29 points from 18 games, tie on points with Real Valladolid, which has a game in hand.
