Segunda division (Week 17) : Tenerife beats Mallorca 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 17: After three straigth draws, Los Chicharreros returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Mallorca this Saturday.
Mallorca had started off well by taking the lead in the 2nd minute with a goal by Moutinho Thierry. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Chicharreros nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Gonzalez Cristo '64 and Perdomo Omar '65).
CD Tenerife climbed to 13rd place with 22 points from 17 games, only one point behind Elche CF.
