Segunda division (Week 18) : Mallorca and Girona play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Dec. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 18: The match between Mallorca and Girona ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Mallorca players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Aveldano Lucas in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Girona with a saving goal from Olivas Kiko in the 90th minute.
Girona FC climbed to 16th place with 19 points from 18 games, 2 points behind Real Valladolid, which has a game in hand.
