Segunda division (Week 17) : Oviedo defeats Mirandés 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Real Oviedo. After their 2-1 win against Llagostera on December 6, the Carbayones continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Mirandés this Sunday.
Toche Nicolas scored dual goals
Mirandés had started off well by taking the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by Ortiz Alex. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Carbayones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Toche Nicolas '65, '69).
Real Oviedo climbed to third place with 28 points from 17 games, 2 points behind Deportivo Alavés.
