Segunda division (Week 10) : Elche beats Zaragoza 3-1
SPAIN, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 10: After their 4-4 draw against Gimnastic de Tarragona on October 8, Los Franjiverdes returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Zaragoza this Sunday.
Novo Pelayo scored dual goals
Elche dominated the first half thanks to goals from Novo Pelayo ('29, '44) and Nino Juan ('34). Leading 3-0 at the break, Los Franjiverdes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Elche CF climbed to fifth place with 13 points from 9 games, only one point behind SD Huesca.
