Segunda division (Week 11) : Elche and Cordoba play to a 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 11: The match between Cordoba and Elche ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Elche players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Pelegrin Sergio in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Cordoba with a saving goal from Piovaccari Federico in the 68th minute.
Cordoba CF remains in second place with 16 points from 9 games, 4 points behind Levante UD.
