Segunda division (Week 28) : Almeria defeats Lugo 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 28: After losing 1-0 to Tenerife on February 18, Los Rojiblancos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Almeria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Quique Gonzalez in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fidel Chaves in the 52nd minute.
CD Lugo are down in 8th place with 30 points from 23 games, tie on points with SD Huesca.
