Serie A (Week 7) : Lazio defeats Fiorentina 2-0
ITALY, Oct. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 7: Three wins in a row for Lazio. After their success against Palermo and Sassuolo, the Biancocelesti continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Fiorentina this Sunday.
Lazio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Serbian forward Djordjevic in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancocelesti further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lulić in stoppage time.
Lazio climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 7 games, only one point behind Udinese, which has a game in hand.
