Serie A (Week 16) : Crotone defeats Pescara 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 16: After losing 2-1 to AC Milan on December 4, the Pitagorici returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Pescara this Saturday.
Crotone dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Raffaele Palladino in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Pitagorici further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ferrari Gianmarco with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Crotone climbed to 18th place with 9 points from 16 games, only one point behind Empoli FC, which has a game in hand.
