Serie A (Week 16) : Juve defeats Torino 3-1
ITALY, Dec. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Juventus. After their 3-1 win against Atalanta on December 3, La Vecchia Signora continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Torino this Sunday.
Gonzalo Higuaín scored dual goals
Torino forward Andrea Belotti opened the score in the 16th minute, before seeing Juventus catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Gonzalo Higuaín. 1-1 at half time. La Vecchia Signora eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Higuaín ('82) and Pjanić ('90).
Juventus remains in first place with 39 points from 16 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
