ITALY, Dec. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 16: After losing 3-0 to Napoli on December 2, the Beneamata bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Genoa this Sunday.
Marcelo Brozović scored dual goals
Inter Milan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozović in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Beneamata further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Brozović in the 69th minute.
Inter Milan climbed to 8th place with 24 points from 16 games, only one point behind Torino FC.
