ITALY, Dec. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Inter Milan. After their 2-0 win against Genoa on December 11, the Beneamata continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 1-0 victory over Sassuolo this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Inter Milan midfielder Antonio Candreva in the 47th minute.
Inter Milan climbed to 7th place with 27 points from 17 games, 2 points behind Atalanta BC.
