ITALY, Dec. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Chievo. After their 0-2 win against Palermo on December 11, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Sampdoria this Sunday.
Chievo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Meggiorini ('9) and Pellissier ('41 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
AC Chievo Verona climbed to 10th place with 25 points from 17 games, tie on points with Torino FC.
