Serie A (Week 21) : Genoa and Crotone play out 2-2 draw
ITALY, Jan. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 21: The match between Genoa and Crotone ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Genoa players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Simeone Giovanni in the 43rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Ocampos goal on penalty ('66) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Crotone with goals by Federico Ceccherini ('54) and Ferrari Gianmarco ('74).
Genoa CFC are down in 16th place with 24 points from 21 games, tie on points with UC Sampdoria, which has a game in hand.
