Serie A (Week 22) : Crotone beats Empoli 4-1
ITALY, Jan. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 22: After their 2-2 draw against Genoa on January 22, the Pitagorici bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Empoli this Sunday.
Falcinelli Diego scored tripple goals
Crotone forward Adrian Stoian opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Empoli catch up in the 39th minute thanks to Levan Mchedlidze. 1-1 at half time. The Pitagorici eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Falcinelli Diego ('56, '90 on penalty, '90).
Empoli FC remains in 17th place with 21 points from 22 games, 3 points behind US Sassuolo Calcio.
