ITALY, Jan. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 22: The match between Fiorentina and Genoa ended in a 3-3 draw on Sunday.
Fiorentina players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Slovenian midfielder Josip Iličić in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Chiesa Federico ('50) and Kalinic Nikola ('62) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Genoa with goals by Simeone Giovanni ('57, '86 on penalty) and Hiljemark Oscar ('59).
ACF Fiorentina remains in 8th place with 34 points from 21 games, 3 points behind AC Milan.
