Serie A (Week 35) : Empoli beats Bologna 3-1
ITALY, May. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 35: After losing 1-3 to Sassuolo on April 30, the Azzurri bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Bologna this Sunday.
Empoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Croce ('5) and Pasqual ('38). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Azzurri further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Costa in the 46th minute.
Bologna FC 1909 remains in 15th place with 38 points from 35 games, 2 points behind US Sassuolo Calcio.
