Serie A (Week 10) : Napoli defeats Genoa 3-2
ITALY, Oct. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 10: After their 0-0 draw against Inter Milan on October 21, the Partenopei bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Genoa this Wednesday.
Dries Mertens scored dual goals
Genoa opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Adel Taarabt, before Napoli regained the advantage with Mertens ('14, '30). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zukanović into his own net in the 60th minute.
Napoli remains in first place with 28 points from 10 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Inter Milan.
