Serie A (Week 11) : Napoli beats Sassuolo 3-1
ITALY, Oct. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Napoli. After their 2-3 win against Genoa on October 25, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Sassuolo this Sunday.
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Allan Marques ('22) and Callejon Jose ('44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mertens in the 54th minute.
Napoli remains in first place with 31 points from 11 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Juventus.
