Serie A (Week 11) : Inter beats Verona 2-1
ITALY, Oct. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Inter Milan. After their 3-2 win against Sampdoria on October 24, the Beneamata continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Monday.
Inter Milan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Borja Valero in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Beneamata further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Perisic in the 67th minute.
Inter Milan remains in second place with 29 points from 11 games, 2 points behind Napoli.
