Serie A (Week 12) : Cagliari defeats Verona 2-1
ITALY, Nov. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 12: After losing 2-1 to Torino on October 29, the Rossoblu returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Hellas Verona midfielder Bruno Zuculini opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Cagliari catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Ceppitelli Luca. 1-1 at half time. The Rossoblu eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Farago Paolo with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Cagliari remains in 14th place with 12 points from 12 games, tie on points with Udinese, which has a game in hand.
