Serie B (Week 34) : Catania beats Varese 3-0
ITALY, Apr. 2, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 34: Two wins in a row for Catania. After their 1-0 win against Avellino on March 29, Catania continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 3-0 victory over Varese this Thursday.
Catania dominated the first half thanks to goals from Maniero ('39) and Castro ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Catania players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Calaio in the 64th minute.
Gli Elefanti remains in 20th place with 38 points from 34 games, one point behind FC Pro Vercelli 1892.
