HELSINGBORG, Jun. 15, 1958 (AMP) — Sweden 58 : Czechoslovakia defeated Argentina by a big score of 6-1 (halftime: 3-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Sunday night at the Olympia in Helsingborg.
Zdeněk Zikán and Václav Hovorka scored dual goals
Czechoslovakia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dvořák ('8) and Zikán ('17, '39). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Czechoslovaks further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Feureisl '68 and Hovorka '81, '89).
