MUNICH, Jun. 23, 1974 (AMP) — Germany 74 : Argentina defeated Haiti by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Olympic Stadium in Munich.
Héctor Yazalde scored dual goals
Argentina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Yazalde ('15) and Houseman ('18). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Argentines further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ayala '55 and Yazalde '68).
