BUENOS AIRES, Jun. 14, 1978 (AMP) — Argentina 78 : Italy tied 0-0 with Germany, in a World Cup second round game on Wednesday afternoon at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires.

The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group A with one point. In their next game, Germany will meet group leaders the Netherlands at the Estadio Monumental on June 18, while Italy will face Austria.
