ZAPOPAN, Jun. 11, 1986 (AMP) — Mexico 86 : Morocco defeated Portugal by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday afternoon at the Estadio Tres de Marzo in Zapopan.
Abderrazak Khairi scored dual goals
Morocco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Khairi ('19, '26). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Moroccans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Krimau in the 62nd minute.
