BOLOGNA, Jun. 14, 1990 (AMP) — Italy 90 : Yugoslavia defeated Colombia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in Bologna.
Colombia made the Yugoslavs doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Yugoslav defender Davor Jozić in the 75th minute.
The result put the Colombians second in Group D with 2 points. Yugoslavia is third with 2 points. In their last game, Colombia will meet group leaders Germany at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on June 19, while Yugoslavia will face the United Arab Emirates.
