BOLOGNA, Jun. 19, 1990 (AMP) — Italy 90 : Yugoslavia defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a World Cup group stage game on Tuesday afternoon at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in Bologna.
Darko Pančev scored dual goals
Yugoslavia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sušić ('4) and Pančev ('8). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Yugoslavs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pančev '46 and Prosinečki '90).
