NELSPRUIT, Jun. 25, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Ivory Coast defeated North Korea by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Friday afternoon at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
Ivory Coast dominated the first half thanks to goals from Touré ('14) and Romaric ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Ivorians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kalou with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
