APIA, Aug. 29, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Oceania Qualifiers) : Tuvalu tied 1-1 with Tahiti (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Tahitians third in Group A with one point. Tuvalu is fourth with one point. In their next game, Tahiti will meet group leaders the Fiji on September 1, while Tuvalu will face the Cook islands.
