APIA, Sep. 1, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Oceania Qualifiers) : The Fiji defeated Tahiti by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.

The result put the Fijians top of Group A with 9 points. Tahiti is fourth with one point. In their last game, the Fiji will meet second-placed New Caledonia on September 3, while Tahiti will face the Cook islands.
