NATAL, Jun. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 : Mexico defeated Cameroon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Friday afternoon at the Arena das Dunas in Natal.
Cameroon made the Mexicans doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Mexican forward Oribe Peralta in the 61st minute.
The result put the Mexicans second in Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Mexico will meet group leaders Brazil at the Arena das Dunas on June 17, while Cameroon will face Croatia.
