RIO DE JANEIRO, Jun. 22, 2014 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 : Belgium defeated Russia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
45 minutes of play and neither the Belgians nor the Russians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Belgian forward Divock Origi with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
