SãO PAULO, Jun. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 : Belgium defeated South Korea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Arena Corinthians in São Paulo.
South Korea made the Belgians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Belgian defender Jan Vertonghen in the 78th minute.
