KAZAN, Jun. 24, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Colombia defeated Poland by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Sunday night at the Kazan Arena.
Colombia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mina in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Colombians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Falcao '70 and Cuadrado '75).
The result put the Colombians third in Group H with 3 points. Poland is bottom with no points. In their last game, Colombia will meet group leaders Senegal at the Kazan Arena on June 28, while Poland will face Japan.
