Championship (Week 26) : Preston defeats Brighton 2-0

ENGLAND, Jan. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 26: After five straigth victories against Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City, QPR and Fulham, the Seagulls lost 2-0 against Preston.

Preston dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Huntington Paul in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Robinson Callum in the 53rd minute.

Brighton and Hove Albion FC are down in second place with 54 points from 25 games, one point behind Newcastle United.
