Championship (Week 27) : Wigan Athletic defeats Brentford 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Wigan Athletic. After their 0-2 win against Burton Albion on January 14, the Latics continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Brentford this Saturday.
Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to goals from Morsy Sam ('28) and Dean ('32 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Brentford FC remains in 15th place with 33 points from 27 games, one point behind Ipswich Town FC.
